RIVERFEST TOWANDA AUGUST 18-19-20

Come join us for the 24th annual Towanda Riverfest. We will meet at Ulster at 10:00 am and paddle to Towanda's River Fest.
We will offer a shuttle leaving at 9:30 from behind the Police Station in Towanda up river to Ulster.
We expect a sunny day for this 8 - mile leisure paddle. Bring dry clothes, binoculars (eagles are common), proper footwear for water, and plenty of drinking water with a snack.
Endless Mountains Heritage Region's North Branch Water Trail is sponsoring the event.
If you need a kayak, we offer recreational and touring kayaks for rent. They are very stable and user friendly. Tandem kayaks and canoes are also available. The recreational kayaks are $35, touring kayaks are $40, and tandem kayaks and canoes are $50 for the day. PFD and paddles are included. A lesson on how to kayak will be offered. Registration and rental prices include a donation to the NBWT and Riverfest. If you bring your own boat, a shuttle donation to the Riverfest for the event is $15 per boat. Bring your boat to Ulster, drop it off there and drive to Towanda, then ride back on the shuttle. If you need to livery your boat from Towanda to Ulster there will be $5 additional charge.
A demo kayak paddle at River Fest will be available behind the Bradford County Court House from EMO's booth from 1:30 - 5:30.
The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership will be at the River Fest with information on the North Branch Susquehanna Water Trail and the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership.
